Puppy Training Classes
Doggie In The Window takes a very hands-on approach to your puppy training. Rather than dropping off your dog to be trained, we train the both of you! It's of the utmost importance that you learn with your dog, versus your dog learning by themselves. Our group classes take place in our private training facility, located at our new building in Berkley. We offer a variety of different puppy programs and cater to the needs of every owner and pup.
Level 1 Class - Puppy/Beginner Training
Course Length: 6 Weeks
Our puppy/beginner class is designed to teach the basic obedience commands. This class is right for you if your dog (and you) have had no prior formal training. Commands taught include:
- Sit
- Down
- Sit-Stay
- Down-Stay
- Off
- Come
- Basic Walking
Our level 1 class is done in a group setting and led by one of our passionate, accredited and recognized trainers. They help our puppy's parents with coaching at home to continue the training after class.

Level 2 Class - Advanced Training
Course Length: 6 Weeks
Our level II class is designed for those dog owners who want to enhance their training experience as built through Puppy/Beginner classes. Commands taught include:
- Review of Basic Commands
- Level II Walk
- Auto-Sit
- Leave
- Stop-Jump
- Teach-a-Place
This class caters to the needs of you and your dog as to what advanced tricks and behaviors you'd like to work towards. Our level 2 class is also done in a group setting by one of our expert trainers. Our intermediate class helps you achieve the same results in situations that involve more distance, duration and distractions, such as; "heel", "wait" "come inside", "go to bed", "get your ball" and more.
